My tenth month as
a digital marketing apprentice

Ten months into my digital marketing apprenticeship and it has certainly been an interesting month! A good place to start this month would be talking about the liquidation of 3aaa, my apprenticeship provider.

Back in November 2017, I applied for a digital marketing apprenticeship through 3aaa. An apprenticeship was something I had never considered before. After having to drop out of university unexpectedly, I learnt how competitive jobs really were. A 20-year-old with no real qualification was never going to stand a chance again those with degrees and apprenticeship experience! After learning this is the hard way and spending a month unemployed, I knew I needed to go back into education and an apprenticeship with 3aaa looked like the perfect opportunity.

Fast forward 10 months and 3aaa have gone into liquidation. A shock to everyone involved.

I can’t thank everyone I have had the chance to work with throughout the time I have spent at the Newcastle Academy. A big thank you to Rachel, my tutor, especially! Rachel has been supportive throughout the duration of my apprenticeship and someone I have been able to go to any time I needed help or advice about my apprenticeship!

Another shock to Credere Media this month has been the departure of Stu, the face, voice and brains of the business! I cannot thank Stu enough for everything he has done for me over the course of my apprenticeship. I have thoroughly enjoyed working by his side for the past 10 months and having the chance to have someone with such knowledge to help me in my learning. I wish him the best of luck with his new endeavour!

Despite all these changes, my course is still going well! I have continued working on SEO, Social Media Management and Content Marketing. I have another guest blog coming out on the Small Business Bonfire website in November all about content creation so I am excited to start posting that blog post out on social media in the next month.

For now, it is business as usual as both Credere Media and my apprenticeship carry on as normal. I will be back next month with a few new blog posts and lots more work done!
