David Dixon Garden Machinery came to Credere Media looking for help to increase local traffic to their e-commerce website. Due to store relocation it was imperative that customers would still be able to find them physically as well as digitally. 

An initial Site Audit was conducted, to identify any issues with the websites current content and to assess potential keywords/key phrases to target.

To appear higher in search engine results we selected several keywords and product pages to gain higher rankings for. At the start of the project they did not rank for any keyword/phrase in the top 20 results.

The process

Our job at Credere Media was to help David Dixon achieve these goals and help them get the overall increase in traffic. We were to go about this by using a variety of SEO techniques including:

  • Competitor research 
  • Keyword research
  • Content creation 
  • Continuous site audits and updates to the webpage.
  • Daily monitoring and tracking

Being a seasonal business it was imperative to identify current user search trends that fit with the business during the current season as well as year round products that the business offer.


We discussed our initial findings and plan with the client and set about editing content on the website as well as curating new content with the help of the business. As “content is king” this is something we wanted to increase on their webpage.

With all these changes implemented and continuous updates being made to the site through these techniques we have been able to witness an increase in the SERP and traffic landing on the webpage. With this success in the first month we are highly expecting traffic and search results to continue getting higher.
